Director of Corporate Real Estate
Jeremy Shapiro, a lifelong resident of Miami, has over 25 years’ experience with real estate development, investment and asset management in South Florida including in office, industrial, retail, multifamily and hospitality sectors as well as residential. Mr. Shapiro is involved in all aspects of Florida Commerce Park’s development including zoning/entitlements, design review, engineering and construction management, along with the park’s ongoing vertical development, real estate operations and asset management. Mr. Shapiro’s broad development background includes having overseen the planning and development of over 800 acres of commercial real estate in South Florida including two million square feet of Class-A industrial space in the Miami market.
Prior to that, Mr. Shapiro was director of development for Codina Development Company, one of South Florida most prolific real estate development firms. During his five-year tenure, he was responsible for managing all industrial, office, retail, multifamily and residential development operations as well as identifying new development opportunities. Previously, he developed a broad spectrum of real estate asset classes throughout South Florida. He was also was involved in the acquisition of stabilized and value-added assets along with repositioning and disposition of assets.
Mr. Shapiro holds an MBA and a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Miami. He is a licensed real estate broker and licensed general contractor.
